These 3 pictures prove the importance of getting references for your fence.  R&D ALWAYS provides a list of address references so you can go by and see our fences and the quality of our work.  This fence was built for an elderly lady and the fence contractor was recommended to her by one of the online Home improvement companies that lead you to believe the contractors they recommend are veted.  This fence is only six months old with gates falling off, and it had to be propped up with 2x4's.  They used 1x4's for runners, no brackets or caps on the poles (runners were screwed directly into the poles), and the concrete runner she wanted was installed as cinder blocks with a plaster top cap. The poles were set in the cinder blocks and only about 6" deep.  Of course, this fence started falling almost immediately. Her gates fell off in 2 weeks.  PLEASE - GET REFERENCES!  She had us rebuild this fence, and we felt so bad she had to do so 6 months later.  But this fence was garbage! She decided to go back with R-Panel metal, and pictures are below.  OUR fence is there to stay!  We replaced pickets with R-panel, light weight poles with steel pipe posts, and, of course, used brackets and caps, and properly used treated 2x4 runners.  She decided to leave the cinder block footing to save money, but our posts were definitely set 2 1/2' deep in concrete as always. This job was inexcusable, and we consider it elder abuse.  We do not tolerate this and you will not see R&D taking advantage of anyone, regardless of age or any other reason.  Our reputation depends on it!

48" Drop rods are used on all double wide gates to protect them from blowing in our Oklahoma wind and damaging the gate.

This customer requested a 4' spaced picket dog-run fence to pen up their dogs from the main yard.

Retaining walls/footings are sometimes required for some jobs, and R&D Fencing is up to the task.  This improved the look of this fence tremendously.
